Shannon Beador Blasts Ex John Janssen Amid Explosive ‘Facelift Lawsuit’ Drama
Shannon Beador is closing the chapter on her legal battle with ex-boyfriend John Janssen. The Real Housewives of Orange County star, 60, announced on Instagram Thursday evening that the lawsuit has been resolved, sharing proof of her $60,000 payment to Janssen.
Beador posted a photo of the wire transfer receipt, highlighting the amount and circling the “purpose of funds” section, which read, “John Janssen settlement in full.” She capped off the post with a cutting caption: “Enjoy,” tagging Janssen and his fiancée Alexis Bellino’s Instagram handles.
The lawsuit, filed by Janssen in March, accused Beador of failing to repay the $75,000 he claimed to have loaned her for a facelift procedure. According to the complaint, Janssen alleged that Beador borrowed $40,000 via wire transfer in early 2022 and another $35,000 via personal check on May 20, 2023.
After months of legal wrangling, the two settled the case on November 19, just one week after both parties requested a jury trial. During the RHOC season 18 reunion, which aired earlier this month, Beador addressed the lawsuit, revealing she had offered Janssen $70,000 in exchange for a mutual non-disparagement agreement. She claimed Janssen rejected the proposal, with Bellino explaining that Janssen wanted the ability to defend himself publicly due to the case’s notoriety.
Beador and Janssen dated for three and a half years before their relationship ended in November 2022, just a week after filming for season 17 wrapped. The resolution of the lawsuit marks the end of a contentious chapter in Beador’s life. Her Instagram post, both a declaration of closure and a subtle dig at her ex, underscores the ongoing drama that has captivated RHOC fans.
