As the year draws to a close, Ben Affleck is focusing on family and embracing life as a single dad following his split from Jennifer Lopez earlier this year. The 52-year-old actor is in good spirits, with a source telling People that he is “healthy, single, and enjoying life.”

Affleck is spending the holiday season with his three children—Violet Anne, 19, Seraphina Rose, 15, and Samuel, 12—whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Violet, a first-year student at Yale University, is home for winter break, making this holiday season extra special for the family.

“Ben is spending the holiday with his children and is excited to have Violet home for break,” the insider shared. Affleck and Garner, also 52, continue to co-parent harmoniously. The former couple spent Thanksgiving together volunteering at The Midnight Mission’s annual Thanksgiving Street Fair, where they, along with their children, served meals to Los Angeles’ homeless community.
