An Oklahoma mother, Savawna Bowen, has been charged with child neglect following the tragic death of her 4-month-old baby, Xylon Adams, last year. Bowen was taken into custody by the Tulsa Police Department and is facing one count of child neglect, according to local outlet News on 6.
The charges stem from the death of Xylon, who was admitted to a hospital in January 2024 with devastating injuries, including a severe brain injury, a broken jaw, ribs, and femur. Despite medical intervention, the infant passed away several days later.
