Justin Baldoni has broken his silence on the ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively. In a brief interview with People, the 40-year-old Five Feet Apart director said he was leaning on his “faith” and the support of his “amazing friends and family” as the lawsuit unfolds.

Baldoni, accompanied by his wife Emily and one of their children, was spotted at LAX, where he spoke briefly about the contentious situation. This public appearance comes after Baldoni filed his own lawsuit against Lively, 37, in December 2024, following accusations she made regarding his alleged inappropriate behavior on the set of their film.

Lively, best known for her role in Gossip Girl, claimed that Baldoni’s actions led to an all-hands staff meeting and the imposition of strict guidelines for his behavior. According to her lawsuit, Baldoni was prohibited from sharing inappropriate photos of women, asking about their weight, and discussing explicit personal matters, including his genitalia.

Additionally, Lively alleged that Baldoni attempted to add explicit content to the film that fell outside the approved script, including scenes involving nudity, oral sex, and on-camera climaxes. She further accused Baldoni of orchestrating a “smear campaign” against her to tarnish her reputation.

Bryan Freedman, Baldoni’s attorney, has vehemently denied Lively’s allegations, calling them “false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious.” During an appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show on January 7, Freedman vowed to take aggressive legal action against Lively.

“Wait ‘til you see this lawsuit,” Freedman said. “It’s all going to be based on evidence, and it’s not going to be just a lawsuit. It’s going to be the kind of lawsuit that is full of evidence, admissions, and documents that prove exactly what she did and how she bullied her way through the process to take over the movie and used her PR people to try and destroy Justin.”

The escalating legal battle has drawn significant public attention, casting a shadow over the highly anticipated adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s It Ends With Us. As both parties prepare for an intense legal fight, the situation underscores the complexities and conflicts that can arise in high-stakes Hollywood productions.
