Business Horoscope August 13 to August 19
Aries
Keep things on the down low this week, focusing more on getting your work/life balance right before things start to move on the work front next week. If this was an ordinary year, which it’s not, the Sun’s return to your work sector next week would signal the start of the only active time of the year on the work front and a chance to bring things up to speed and to make things happen. However, Mars has already spent 8 months in your work sector and as he only left last month, there is already so much in motion that the Sun’s job will be to work with what is already on the table and to tidy things up. With the Sun returning to your work sector on Saturday you’ll have a chance to get your bearings and pick up on any important clues, hunches and insights before the next phase begins.
Taurus
Mars’ last full week in your work sector is also likely to be his most important and most impressive, as he takes on the might of Saturn and challenges him for the lead. While their alignment will peak on Wednesday, in the days leading up to this you’re likely to feel your fighting spirit kick in and your blood begin to boil and on the other side to see things accelerate dramatically. Until now Mars has been stuck behind the much slower moving Saturn, but once he’s in the lead and especially as he’ll leave next week, this is when a sense of impatience will turn into a call to action. During their alignment Mars’ fighting spirit and Saturn’s determination will come together for the last time in your work sector for another 27 years, giving you the power to move mountains if you have to.
Gemini
Enjoy the relatively quiet pace on the work front this week. As well as an important week for pacing yourself, this is also a week for putting your income and professional objectives on the same page. It’s Venus’ first full week in your income sector that makes it more about the money and also triggers the laws of attraction. This means that Venus will be here when Mars returns to your work sector next week, kicking off what is destined to be a game changing chain of events. Your work sector doesn’t usually become active until October each year and if last year was anything to go by, active for just 5 ½ weeks, just a short opportunity to bring things up to speed. This year once the doors are open it will be years before they close again. Recharging your batteries needs to be a priority.
Cancer
With more focus on income matters this week than your professional game, it would be easy to underestimate the powerful forces in play. It’s only because you have the North Node in your work sector, keepings things on track and Uranus in your career sector, ensuring that you retain your edge, that you’re positioned to seize the income opportunities that are starting to open up. With Uranus in retrograde motion in your career sector until December and not leaving until February 2019 there is zero urgency on the career front as a whole, with a need to let things evolve naturally. On the work front there is some urgency, for with the North Node leaving at the end of the month you’re about to have your roadmap and compass taken off you. Using them while you still have them is a must.
Leo
Because the Moon only left your career sector over the weekend it’s both relatively easy and important that you move into the new week listening to and trusting your professional instincts, especially anything that doesn’t make sense. When you stop trusting what your professional instincts are telling you and start over thinking, you’ll lose the very edge that you need to hold onto. What your instincts are picking up on is the fact that the South Node is less than 3 weeks away from making its first visit to your career sector in 17 years, with a need to trust that your instincts know something that you don’t. In the meantime there may be some work pressure this week, especially in the early and middle days of the week. This could be a call to slow down and pace yourself more.
Virgo
With Venus having only left your career sector last week and the Moon still here as you move into the new week but leaving on Monday, you’re able to move into the new week with your professional instincts and desires on the same page. However, with Venus already gone and the Moon leaving on Monday, while they’re leaving you with the professional instincts and desires they’ve evoked, they’ll quickly evaporate if you don’t hold onto and use them. This is the Moon’s first visit to your career sector since Venus left and since Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion took over, shifting the focus from the short term and onto the long term. While it’s important to know what you want and to trust your professional instincts, this is very much a work in progress.
Libra
As Venus spends her first full week in your career sector she’s joined in the early days of the week by the Moon, giving you a chance to put your professional desires and instincts on the same page. This is the Moon’s first and only visit to your career sector during Venus’ 4 week visit, that began last week, making it important to listen to your heart and your instincts. As the last planet to move through your career sector for the year Venus is also charged with bringing things home and putting your professional year on the track that you want it to continue on. With the Sun and Mercury having already moved through and Neptune and Chiron keeping things on track on the work front, it’s all about knowing what you want moving forward. Deal with any work/life balance issues as they arise.
Scorpio
After turning direct in your career sector last week Mercury, planet of communication and smart thinking is spending his first full week in direct motion, just as the Sun is spending his last full week here. Yet even though the focus is now firmly on the future and Saturday’s New Moon will give you a chance to draw a new line in the sand, there isn’t the urgency that you would normally expect. This New Moon will give you a chance to make a commitment to the future, but as you have until early October to bring things up to speed, this is more a commitment to getting the ball rolling. With Mercury staying on for the rest of the month and Venus not even returning until early next month, this will remain a work in progress for some time, with the accent on ‘progress’.
Sagittarius
You can expect a relatively quiet week on the professional front, but then you know what they say about looks being deceiving. By the time the Moon returns to your career sector on Saturday the Sun will be just 5 days away and that’s when things will move into a new phase and your professional year, lagging over recent weeks, will mount a resurgence. Yet chances are there are already hints of changes ahead even as you move into the new week, for as the Moon only left your work sector over the weekend, you’re able to move into the new week with some valuable clues and hunches and your antennas still picking up signals. This makes it important to keep your finger on the pulse and your ear to the ground. For there are not only changes on the career front ahead, but on the work front as well.
Capricorn
Despite the fact that Venus left your work sector last week, this is one of the most powerful professional weeks of the year, one where it’s likely that many things on the career front will start coming together or fall into place. That’s because this is the week that Mars, planet of passion, drive and ambition finally catches up with the much slower moving Saturn, who has been blocking his way. Before taking the lead Mars has to first catch up to and then align with Saturn, which will happen midweek. This will temporarily fuse Mars’ professional passions and Saturn’s determination, giving you the power to move mountains if you have to. Mars will start to take the lead from Thursday, just 8 days before he’s due to leave and that’s when a whole new sense of urgency will kick in.
Aquarius
If the stars unfurled their full professional potential in one hit, chances are it would be overwhelming. It began last week with Venus’ return to your work sector and as she spends her first full week, she’s joined by the Moon and the chance this gives you to put your heart and instincts on the same page. With the Sun and Mercury having already moved through, most or if not all of your options should already be on the table and it’s now more a matter of listening to your heart. This makes it important to keep your focus on your immediate work or job situation, for when Mars returns to your career sector next week this could be show stealing. In particular, pay attention to any work pressure early to midweek and to what it reveals when it comes to knowing what you do or don’t want.
Pisces
There should be more urgency with Mercury spending his first full week in direct motion in your work sector, the Sun his last before leaving next week and a New Moon on Saturday opening new doors and calling for a commitment to the future. With the North Node leaving your career sector in less than 3 weeks time, this should be adding urgency as well. Yet the only urgency is to keep your focus on the road ahead and to begin what will remain a work in progress until early October. The North Node is providing a professional roadmap and a compass and while you’ll lose that at the end of the month, after studying and relying on both since March 2011, you should know this by heart. On the work front the focus is all on the future, but most things won’t come together until next month. – freepsychicnetwork
