Thomas Markle speaks after son’s ‘vicious’ Meghan outburst

Meghan Markle’s brother told Prince Harry: “She’s going to ruin your life”

Thomas said that ‘everything they’re doing is for money’ as he spoke about Harry and Meghan.

Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas, was put on the spot over his son’s vicious comments made against the Duchess ahead of his Big Brother appearance.

Thomas was grilled over Thomas Markle Junior’s comments on the Australian version of Big Brother – with the host asking whether publicly talking about their family member in such a negative way was “in any way helpful?”

Mr Markle told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “My son Tom has been shunned just like I’ve been and I’m sure he’s just reacting the same way others are that get ghosted. Piers was right.”We all get ghosted. So somebody wants to respond.

He added: “If you go back into history and read Meghan’s Tig (blog), you’ll find hundreds of things where she praised me and now suddenly it’s like she doesn’t know me,” The Express wrote.

“So, take the time, read Tig, find out what she says about me.”

In a trailer for the show, Thomas Markle Jr described Meghan as “shallow”.

He said: “I’m Meghan Markle’s brother. I’m the biggest brother of them all.”

He goes on to say: “I told Prince Harry, I think she’s going to ruin your life. She’s very shallow.”

The duchess has a fraught relationship with her extended family and has been estranged from her father for a number of years.

Meghan’s half-sister Samantha Grant, also known as Samantha Markle, has see-sawed between condemning and praising her famous relative and once described her as a “shallow social climber”.

Thomas Markle added the falling-out with his daughter is “ridiculous” and they should make up “for the sake of the children”.

He told the program he will not take legal action in order to see his grandchildren because he does not want to use them as “pawns in a game”.

Asked if he is worried about never being able to meet them, Mr. Markle said: “I’m very concerned about that – I’d really love to see my grandchildren.

“People have suggested in California that I sue to see my kids and I think if I did that I’d be a hypocrite. I’d be doing the same thing as Meghan and Harry are doing.

I don’t want to include my grandchildren in this kind of situation. I want to see my grandchildren with friendly parents and friendship all around.”
