Prayers Are Needed For Deion Sanders As He Undergoes Another Surgery
Deion Sanders, the head coach for Colorado, is due for another surgery and will, therefore, miss the Pac-12 media day this Friday. This news was relayed by Buffaloe’s insider Brian Howell, stating that the surgery is scheduled for Thursday. In Sanders’ absence, Charles Kelly, the defensive coordinator, will represent the team at the Las Vegas event.
As the news of Sanders’ upcoming procedure spread, wishes for a quick recovery flooded in from the college football community.
“Quick recovery, Deion!” one supporter commented.
“Wishing you all the best, Deion,” another fan expressed.
“His presence was probably the highlight of the event. Hope his surgery goes smoothly,” another commented.
Previously, Sanders underwent an urgent surgical procedure to eliminate several blood clots in his legs last month. While the specifics of the forthcoming surgery remain undisclosed, it is suspected to be connected to his ongoing blood clot complications. As the head coach of Jackson State in 2021, known as Coach Prime, he had to miss three matches due to a double toe amputation.
The hope is for Sanders to make a full recovery and be ready in time for his debut season with Colorado. The Buffaloes are scheduled to commence their 2023 season with a game against TCU on September 2nd.
Here’s wishing Coach Prime a speedy recovery!
