Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have recently been scrutinized for allegedly showing signs of an impending separation. This speculation was brought to light by royal commentator and expert Daniela Elser in one of her latest pieces for News.com.au.

Elser discussed the changing dynamics within the Sussexes’ relationship, recalling, “It was this time last year that, for a spell, chatter and noise about the exact state of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s marriage was doing the rounds.”

At that time, reports suggested a growing independence between the two. One notable claim was that the owner of a leading hotel chain in Montecito had mentioned they kept a room set aside for Harry, where he occasionally stayed alone. This room, reportedly his “escape place,” is located in the private Los Angeles members club San Vicente Bungalows.

However, Elser highlighted a positive shift since then, stating, “I am mightily pleased to report that, if the times we have seen Harry and Meghan in public in the 12 months since are anything to go on, then everyone can breathe a massive sigh of relief.”

She pointed out that throughout the past year, the couple has been seen together in various locations, from Vancouver to Austin, Abuja to Lagos, and San Diego. They have consistently appeared affectionate and united, “still holding hands and beaming at one another like they are fresh off their honeymoon and still have the sand in their knickers to prove it.”

Despite these positive appearances, Elser warned of significant changes in the Sussexes’ public and professional lives. She noted, “Still, the last year has solidified what seem to be clear shifts in Sussex Land. Shifts like them increasingly separating their careers and public branding.”

Elser reflected on the past, when the couple often appeared together on television, sharing their stories as a unified front. “The teary, sometimes terse, TV times are long over. Harry and Meghan have moved on from their several years of sharing, sharing, sharing, often as a double act, while red, recording lights blinked and blinked some more,” she commented.

As Prince Harry and Meghan navigate their public lives and careers, the ongoing speculation about their relationship continues to capture public interest. Whether these changes signify a strategic shift or deeper personal dynamics remains a topic of discussion among royal watchers and the general public alike.
