Ben Affleck Spotted with Kick Kennedy Amid Jennifer Lopez Divorce Rumors, Bringing Kennedy Family Story Back to Light
As news of Jennifer Lopez’s divorce continues to dominate headlines, Ben Affleck has recently been seen with Kathleen “Kick” Kennedy, daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., sparking curiosity about their relationship. Although details remain uncertain, this has led to the resurfacing of a bizarre story from over a decade ago, shared by Kick, involving her father’s intense environmental activism.
The incident, dating back to around 1994, involves Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and a dead whale that washed ashore in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts. Upon hearing the news, Kennedy rushed to the scene with a chainsaw, severed the whale’s head, and tied it to the roof of his minivan with bungee cords. He then embarked on a five-hour drive back to his home in New York.
Kick recounted the experience, saying, “Every time we accelerated on the highway, whale juice would pour into the windows of the car, and it was the rankest thing on the planet. We all had plastic bags over our heads with mouth holes cut out, and people on the highway were giving us the finger, but that was just normal day-to-day stuff for us,” as reported by The Daily Beast.
In contrast to her father’s unsuccessful presidential bid, Kick Kennedy seems to be steering clear of politics, focusing instead on her acting career. According to The Daily Mail, she and Affleck have been seen together at high-profile locations like the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel and other celebrity hangouts.
Meanwhile, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently ended his presidential campaign, choosing instead to endorse former President Donald Trump for the upcoming November elections. Kennedy’s endorsement of Trump came after several discussions between the two, starting shortly after Trump survived an assassination attempt. Speaking about Trump, Robert said, “I was surprised to discover that we are aligned on many key issues.
In those meetings, he suggested that we join forces as a unity party. We talked about Abraham Lincoln’s team of rivals. That arrangement would allow us to disagree publicly and privately and seriously, if need be, on issues over which we differ while working together on the existential issues upon which we are in concordance,” as reported by The Guardian.
However, this endorsement did not sit well with all members of the Kennedy family. Max Kennedy, Robert’s brother, expressed his dismay, stating, “I’m heartbroken over my brother Bobby’s endorsement of Donald Trump. Robert F. Kennedy’s life was dedicated to promoting the safety, security, and happiness of the American people.” Max added, “I love Bobby. But I hate what he is doing to our country. It is worse than disappointment. We are in mourning,” he wrote, according to The Guardian.
