Comedian Bill Maher had a bold message for those who criticize his dating preferences. During a recent episode of The Skinny Confidential’s Him & Her podcast, the 68-year-old host of Real Time with Bill Maher opened up about his unconventional dating life, admitting that he tends to date women who are much younger than him.

“I’m not looking. I’m good,” Maher told podcast hosts Michael Bosstick and Lauryn Evarts Bosstick. He added that his unavailability seemed to make him more attractive to women. “Nothing that I could have predicted when I was your age came to pass,” he explained. “Like I would never have imagined that at this age, anyone… my dating is not age-appropriate.”

When asked by Michael if his love interests were younger than society might expect, Maher bluntly replied, “Not just perceived, they literally are.” Aware that his dating choices might stir criticism, Maher responded unapologetically: “The people who are pissed off at that, f*** you. You do you, I do me. You do what works for you.”

In the podcast, Maher also shared his views on marriage, maintaining that it’s not something he believes in or plans to pursue. “It would ruin everything,” he said. While he enjoys discussing the topic, Maher emphasized that he prefers not to disclose too many personal details. “Most won’t understand it, but it sure works for me,” he admitted about his decision to remain unmarried.

Maher encouraged listeners to make their own decisions instead of conforming to societal expectations of marriage and parenthood. “It certainly was in my head for way too long, that you [have to] find the one, like it’s an Easter egg hunt… That’s certainly not the way I’ve ever seen life work.”

While Maher acknowledged that marriage works for some people, he doesn’t believe it’s for everyone. “It’s not that I don’t believe in marriage or acknowledge that some people do have good marriages,” he added. “I know people who would be lost without this.”

Maher’s candid remarks come amid rumors of him dating Noor Alfallah, the 30-year-old ex-girlfriend of Al Pacino, after the two were spotted together at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. However, Alfallah has denied the rumors, and Maher hasn’t publicly commented on the speculation.
