Travis Barker Reportedly Hospitalized for unknown Medical Emergency: “God save me”
According to reports, Travis Barker was hospitalized in Los Angeles on Tuesday for an unknown reason.
The 46-year-old Blink-182 musician and Kourtney Kardashian’s husband were sent to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center for ongoing treatment, according to numerous sources, after initially checking into West Hills Hospital and Medical Center on Tuesday morning, according to the Elle reports.
Tuesday morning at 10:45 a.m. PT, Barker tweeted a cryptic message that may have referred to his health. The drummer wrote, “God saves me.”
But since then, Barker’s little message hasn’t been the only thing he’s done on Twitter. His account also liked a tweet from Billboard that included a story on his recent collaboration with the singer Jxdn, with whom he collaborated two singles in memory of Cooper Noriega, a friend who passed away. The singles from the duo came out earlier on Tuesday.
Alabama Barker, his daughter, shared a distressing message on her Instagram account later on Tuesday, asking her fans to “Please send your prayers,” despite the fact that Barker’s condition is now unknown.
For three decades, Barker has been a major player in the music industry, most recently working with singers like Machine Gun Kelly and Post Malone. In March, he gave a performance at the Dolby Theatre’s 94th Academy Awards ceremony.
Due to the fact that the first season of Hulu’s “The Kardashians” last year included a detailed account of his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian, he had more recently attained a more prominent position in the public eye. In May, the couple exchanged the vows in Portofino, Italy.
Barker and Kardashian’s representatives were not immediately available for comment.
The first news of Barker’s hospitalization was released by TMZ.
