In a startling incident, Charlie Sheen, the renowned actor from “Two and a Half Men,” was reportedly assaulted after a neighbor allegedly broke into his Malibu residence. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call about a battery at the 6000 block of Cavalleri Road on Wednesday around 1 p.m.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered that Sheen had been the victim of an alleged assault and home invasion. The suspect, identified as Electra Schrock, was arrested on suspicion of assaulting Sheen with a deadly weapon and residential burglary. Schrock, also a Malibu resident, is scheduled for arraignment at the Van Nuys courthouse. The motive behind the attack remains undisclosed.

Earlier this year, Schrock had entered a no contest plea to misdemeanor elder abuse. Sheen’s representatives have not yet commented on the incident.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department also responded to Sheen’s home, but there were no hospitalizations.

Sheen himself has had a history of assault allegations, including a 1996 charge for attacking then-girlfriend Brittany Ashland and a 2009 arrest for domestic violence involving his former wife Brooke Mueller, to which he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault. In 2015, his ex-fiancee Scottine Ross sued him, alleging assault and other charges, including exposing her to HIV, which was later presumably settled.

Sheen, once the highest-paid actor on television for his role in “Two and a Half Men,” faced career setbacks due to substance abuse issues and was eventually fired from the show. His post-firing activities included a national tour and a lawsuit against show co-creator Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. for wrongful termination. Recently, Sheen was cast in a new HBO show by Lorre, marking their reunion a decade after his departure from the sitcom.
