Ryan O’Neal reunites with longtime love Farrah Fawcett two weeks after death
Hollywood icon Ryan O’Neal was laid to rest beside his cherished Farrah Fawcett at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park & Mortuary in Los Angeles, following his passing on December 8 at the age of 82 from congestive heart failure.
O’Neal, renowned for his role in ‘Love Story,’ and Fawcett, famed for ‘Charlie’s Angels,’ shared a tumultuous yet enduring love. The couple, who began their relationship in 1979 and had a son named Raymond in 1985, experienced highs and lows over the years, including a brief separation in 1997. They reunited in 2001 amidst O’Neal’s health struggles and remained together until Fawcett’s passing in 2009 due to cancer.
The funeral, attended by close family and friends including ex-wife Leigh Taylor-Young, son Patrick O’Neal, and Fawcett’s best friend Alana Stewart, was a small, intimate gathering of about 25 people, as reported by The Daily Mail.
Reflecting on their bond, O’Neal once expressed to People Magazine, ‘I loved her with all my heart. I will miss her so very, very much.’ Their final resting together symbolizes the depth of their connection that withstood the test of time and tribulations.
