Singer Halsey, 29, was recently hospitalized after suffering a seizure, adding another chapter to her ongoing battle with chronic illnesses. The pop star, known for her openness about her health struggles, took to social media to update her fans upon returning home after a multi-day stay in the hospital.

On Wednesday, Halsey shared a lighthearted Instagram video from her hospital bed, with her fiancé, Avan Jogia, by her side. In the clip, Halsey flashed a peace sign, her IV visible, as she and Jogia awkwardly said in unison, “Happy Late Bi Visibility Day.”

Adding her signature humor to the situation, Halsey captioned the post, “This year I’m celebrating by dying with a man by my side (for legal reasons that’s a joke).”

Following the Instagram update, Halsey reassured fans on X (formerly known as Twitter), sharing more details about her recovery. “I’m home from the hospital now after a few days, so a win is a win!” she wrote. Later, she revealed the cause of her hospitalization: “I had a seizure! Very scary! Don’t recommend it!”

Born Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, Halsey has long been candid about her health issues. In June, she disclosed her diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus and T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder, both of which have added to the complexity of her medical journey. Along with these conditions, the Grammy-nominated artist also faces multiple chronic illnesses, including endometriosis, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS).

Halsey’s vulnerability about her health has made her a beacon of strength for many fans who admire her resilience. Despite her ongoing challenges, she continues to share her journey with her audience, providing both transparency and inspiration.

As Halsey recovers from this latest health scare, her fans continue to send messages of support, celebrating her courage and humor in the face of adversity.
