Kylie Jenner Embraces Natural Look After Reducing Lip Fillers, Shares Makeup-Free Photo
Kylie Jenner recently surprised her followers by sharing a makeup-free photo on Instagram, revealing a more natural look after deciding to reduce her lip fillers. The 27-year-old mother of two posted the barefaced picture, showing her hair tied back, smaller lips, and visible freckles, marking a significant shift from her typically glamorous image.
Jenner’s decision to embrace a more natural appearance comes despite her immense success being closely tied to her looks. The Kylie Cosmetics founder began getting lip fillers in her teenage years, driven by insecurity after someone commented that her thin lips were “unkissable.” Over the years, Jenner has been transparent about her cosmetic procedures, including dissolving her lip fillers in 2018, only to have them re-injected later, reported the Mirror.
In 2023, Jenner also opened up about undergoing a breast augmentation before the birth of her daughter, Stormi, after previously denying having the procedure. Recently, however, the Instagram mogul has been moving towards a more natural aesthetic, despite facing harsh online criticism for her minimal makeup appearance at a Paris Fashion Week event.
On Hulu’s The Kardashians, Jenner candidly discussed the emotional toll of constantly being scrutinized for her appearance. Tearfully, she shared with her sisters the exhausting experience of dealing with public criticism, with some saying she had “ruined her face.” She revealed that over the past year, she has been on a journey to dissolve half of her lip fillers.
“I hate having this same conversation over and over and over again because it feels like a waste of my breath,” Jenner expressed on the show, highlighting her frustration. “I think, with me, it’s just never going to change.”
As Jenner continues to navigate the pressures of fame and beauty standards, her recent posts and openness about her cosmetic decisions reflect a shift towards self-acceptance and embracing her natural beauty.
