When it comes to talented actors and models that are charming and sexy the name of Lucas Black cannot be forgotten. Lucas Black York Black is an American actor and model who is known for his killer looks and immense talents of acting. He is an American television and film actor who has been the heart throb of millions all across the world. He attained the heights of success after appearing the famous American television series American Gothic. He was also starred in the blockbuster hit films like Sling Blade, Jarhead, Friday Night Lights, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Legion, Get Low, All the Pretty Horse, and Seven Days in Utopia. 

Lucas Black was born on November 29th, 1982 in Albana to American parents. He was raised in Albana too and graduated from a high school in Albana in the year 2001. Currently he is a resident of Columbia which is known for being a hub of media related activities. He made his debut at the age of 11 from an American movie called The War which was directed by Kevin Costner and was released in the year 1994.

The War movie was watched by millions of people and made records on the Hollywood box office and this 11 year old used this as a platform for further progression in the area. Lucas Black most famous American Series namely American Gothic was broad casted in the year 1995 and 1996 which again touched the skies of popularity. In this series he was casted for the character of Caleb Temple and he was able to incur a lot of appreciation due to it. Although he did not have any proper acting or experience training prior to these roles yet he did manage to shine like a bright star among all other big names and icons.

A highlight of his acting career is his refusal to sign a television series called The Horse Whisperer made in the year 1998 in which he was supposed to quit his Albanan accent which he would not do at any cost and refused this big opportunity. He then appeared in the advertisements of the famous international clothing brand called Calvin Klein’s. This showed how successful he was in his career.

Lucas Black also has done a supporting role in the famous Cold Mountain produced in the year 2003. After this the American football based series called Friday Night Lights of the year 2005 and the Jarhead which made him an international star. Furthermore his appearance in the most popular and international block buster film called Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift in which his performance was thoroughly appreciated at an international level.

He was nominated for the Teen Choice Award due to his spectacular performance in this international hit. In the year 1996 due to his brilliant performance as a youngster in the film Sling Blade he was awarded the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor.
