Sir Richard Branson, the billionaire founder of Virgin, has strongly denied claims that he was secretly filmed engaging in sexual activities by Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted pedophile financier. These allegations have also implicated Prince Andrew and former U.S. President Bill Clinton, according to statements by Sarah Ransome, a self-proclaimed victim of Epstein.

Ransome, in a letter, alleged that sex tapes were made by Epstein during sexual encounters involving Clinton, Prince Andrew, and Branson. She claimed to have seen evidence of these acts and expressed willingness to testify in court. Her letter also mentioned “many girls” with whom Donald Trump allegedly had sex, as part of a batch of court documents released in New York.

However, a spokesperson for Branson described these allegations as ‘baseless and unsubstantiated’. They referenced a 2019 New Yorker article that suggested Ransome might have fabricated the existence of the tapes to expose Epstein’s behavior.

Ransome, now 38, has previously recounted her experience of being sexually abused by Epstein, facilitated by Ghislane Maxwell, when she was a 22-year-old aspiring model. She was one of the women who gave statements against Maxwell in her 2022 sentencing hearing.

The unsealed documents in a civil claim against Maxwell include Ransome’s claims about the existence of sex tapes involving high-profile individuals like Andrew, Branson, and Clinton.

In these documents, Ransome described how she backed up footage of these alleged incidents to USB drives and sent them to various locations in Europe. The existence of such tapes has been a long-standing rumor in the Epstein case, with other victims also claiming to have seen surveillance systems on Epstein’s properties.

When police raided Epstein’s mansion in 2019, they found a collection of tapes with girls, though no explicit tapes of famous individuals have been publicly released. None of these tapes were presented in Maxwell’s trial, where she was convicted of sex trafficking and abuse.

In relation to Branson, it was reported that Epstein had mentioned meeting him in an email, despite Branson’s spokeswoman stating they had no personal or business relationship.

Epstein’s contact list allegedly included names of many influential British individuals, including Branson and Prince Andrew. However, a spokesperson for Branson has previously denied any significant association with Epstein.

The claims against Branson are part of broader allegations linking several high-profile figures to Epstein’s criminal activities. Representatives for Clinton, Trump, and Branson have all denied any knowledge of Epstein’s criminal behavior.”
