Bugatti 16C Galibier
Presented at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show as a concept, the Bugatti 16C Galibier will soon be ready for purchase. The company confirmed that they are working on the production version of the super sedan. With a W16 engine and a displacement of 8.0 liters, the Galibier will come laden with a two-stage supercharger system. Italdesign-Giugiaro is working closely with Bugatti to design the sedan taking inspiration for the exteriors from the torpedo-like Type 35, while inducing design nods from the Type 57.
Although the entire car will be constructed with carbon fiber, aluminum will be used to for the doors and fenders. We are quite certain that Bugatti will go all out on the interiors for the car with the most expensive wood and leather and combining it with a contemporary LCD center display. Considering the Veyron’s cost of $1.7 million, we are pretty sure the 4-seater street scorcher will be way above that price tag.
