A comprehensive homicide investigation has been initiated following the discovery of the lifeless body of a missing 39-year-old woman, coupled with the alarming revelation that her husband’s truck was found engulfed in flames.

During a press conference convened on January 25, Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey disclosed that Amber Estep was last seen by her husband, Brian Estep, on January 16.

Allegedly, the couple engaged in a heated argument following a medical appointment, culminating in Brian Estep dropping his wife off near the area of I-95, north of State Road 50, after she expressed the desire to exit the car.

Subsequently, Amber Estep’s mother reported her daughter missing on January 19, several days later, when she failed to appear for work, according to Sheriff Ivey.

Authorities made a chilling discovery when they found the pickup truck belonging to the victim’s husband completely ablaze within hours of launching their missing person investigation.

Sheriff Ivey reported that the sheriff’s office is collaborating with the State Fire Marshal’s Office to ascertain the origin and circumstances surrounding the fire.

On January 20, a property owner reportedly stumbled upon Amber Estep’s lifeless body off State Route 46 near Pit Bull Lane and promptly alerted the authorities.

In their pursuit of justice, investigators are meticulously examining evidence and conducting interviews to unravel more details surrounding this perplexing case.
