Melania Trump, according to her former aide, Stephanie Grisham, is a wonderful mother to her son Barron Trump and a kind host.
Grisham recently chatted with People about her upcoming biography, “I’ll Take Your Questions: What I Saw at the Trump White House.” From 2020 until 2021, Grisham was Melania’s staff and press secretary. From 2017 until 2019, she also served as her press secretary. The author also worked as a senior aide to former President Donald Trump.
In her interview with the outlet, Grisham was asked to characterize Melania Trump that the public does not see. Grisham then went on to praise her for being a wonderful hostess and mother.
“She is a really devoted mom. And she spent a lot of time with her son and with her parents,” she was quoted as saying in the interview. “That was one of my favorite things about her was how close she was to her parents. And I have to give her credit. I think going forward for the rest of my life, I will only ever implicitly trust my family and I think that’s where she is too.”
Grisham stated that Melania was surrounded by the Trump family for several years already. She thought that sticking together was part of a “survival thing.” She also praised Melania’s behavior when it comes to how she would entertain her guests.
“She’s kind, which I think is so funny for me to say when you consider the statements she’s put out about me,” Grisham added. “But when you are in her presence, she’ll offer you coffee. She’ll offer you water. ‘Are you comfortable? What can I get you?’”
In the book, Grisham revealed various details regarding Melania Trump. The former model, she claims, was concerned with her own press. She was said to enjoy reading anything that was written about her.
She also shared the Secret Service agents’ moniker for Melania.
Because she rarely left the White House, the previous first lady was dubbed “Rapunzel.” She reminded them of the Disney princess who “remained in her tower, never descending.”
As per Ibtimes, Grisham also discussed the alleged feud between Melania and Ivanka Trump, which stemmed from the latter’s desire to be the center of attention at public gatherings. Melania allegedly called her stepdaughter “the Princess” behind her back.
Staffers at the White House also had a nickname for Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner.
Staff members allegedly called the pair “the interns” in secret.
On October 5, the book “I’ll Take Your Questions Now: What I Saw at the Trump White House” was released.
