NARA Confirms Records Linked to Joe Biden, Including 5,400 Emails with Fake Names
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has verified the presence of approximately 5,400 electronic records and emails that may indicate President Biden’s use of a pseudonym during his tenure as Vice President.
This revelation came on Monday in response to a June 2022 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from the Southeastern Legal Foundation, a constitutional legal non-profit organization.
The FOIA inquiry sought emails associated with pseudonyms like Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware, names President Biden reportedly used in the White House as Vice President under President Obama.
The Southeastern Legal Foundation has now sued NARA, asserting that these records might provide insights into President Biden’s sharing of government information or discussing official matters with his son, Hunter Biden, among others.
Kimberly Hermann, SLF’s general counsel, emphasized the importance of transparency in her statement, suggesting that the public deserves to be informed about the contents of these emails.
Despite the FOIA request in June 2022, the group claims that NARA has been sluggish in its response and has not yet provided any of the emails. In a letter dated June 24, 2022, Stephannie Oriabure, the director of NARA’s archival operations division, communicated to the Southeastern Legal Foundation, detailing the records found in relation to their request.
Recently, House Oversight Committee Chairman, James Comer, called on NARA to release any records without redactions wherein Joe Biden might have utilized a pseudonym during his vice presidency. This is part of his ongoing investigation into any potential ties between the former Vice President and Hunter Biden’s international business activities.
Archival emails, in conjunction with those retrieved from an abandoned laptop belonging to Hunter Biden, suggest that Joe Biden used an email alias “Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov” during his vice presidency. Reports indicate that his aide, John Flynn, also included Hunter in email chains regarding Joe Biden’s daily itinerary during a specific period in 2016.
Chairman Comer expressed concerns about the Biden family’s actions, urging the National Archives to release the records to advance their probe into the matter.
