“Lyin’ Kamala” Keeps Trump Awake at Night with Attacks on Harris and Media

Vice President Kamala Harris seems to be a major concern for former President Donald Trump, who launched a series of late-night Truth Social posts targeting her, President Joe Biden, and certain media outlets.
At around 12:10 a.m. ET on Tuesday, Trump took to Truth Social to criticize ABC News, Biden, and Harris. “ABC Fake News is such a joke, among the absolute WORST in the business,” he wrote. “They then tried to make ‘Sleepy’ look like a great President – he was the WORST, and Lyin’ Kamala into a competent person, which she is not.”
Trump, recently convicted of falsifying business records to hide hush money payments to an adult film star before the 2016 election, has seemingly adopted “Lyin'” as his go-to nickname for Harris. This moniker appeared again in a 12:30 a.m. post where Trump ridiculed Harris’ polling numbers without providing any specific data.
“NBC News Poll: Lyin’ Kamala Harris is the most unpopular Vice President in history,” Trump asserted. “WOW, that is not a great sound bite!” An NBC poll from July 14 indicated that 50 percent of registered voters viewed Harris unfavorably. However, the same poll showed Trump with a 53 percent unfavorability rating. More recent polling from Sunday suggests Harris and Trump are currently in a close race in terms of popularity.
Trump’s frustration seems to be partly fueled by speculation that Biden may step aside from his reelection campaign, potentially paving the way for Harris to take the lead. Trump expressed his disdain for this scenario in another post, saying, “ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, is not worthy of holding a Debate, of which I hope there will be many! They try to make Crooked Joe into a brave warrior because he didn’t have the ‘guts’ to fight it out — He quit!”
Despite the late hour, Trump’s posts quickly garnered responses from users on Truth Social. Some users turned his “Lyin’ Kamala” nickname back on him. One user, Grifting Sarah, replied with an image of Harris as Rosie the Riveter, stating, “Keep lying in order for your fragile ego to feel better. This is what A REAL PRESIDENT looks like.”
Another user, over the pond, commented, “Funny how she is raising so much money for her PARTY ie not for herself as you do. It is obvious that you are really jealous.” Meanwhile, Make America GAY Again remarked, “You know what’s not a great sound bite? You getting convicted of 34 felonies. Also, you praised dictators, Hannibal Lecter, and electric boat sharks.” These exchanges highlight the ongoing tensions and heated rhetoric as the political landscape continues to evolve in the lead-up to the next election cycle.
