A royal expert previously discussed alleged “heated” arguments between Prince William and Kate, stating that the Prince of Wales can become loud when he loses his temper. However, it appears that Kate is not one to be underestimated, as royal author Robert Jobson claims she can hold her ground and respond in kind.
Jobson also delved into the mood swings exhibited by both William and Harry. In a 2018 article for the Daily Mail, he wrote that Charles often finds it challenging to gauge the occasionally unpredictable moods of his sons. A former courtier added that both princes have extreme mood swings similar to Diana’s, where they could transition from being a close friends to an adversary in an instant.
In his 2022 book, “William at 40: The Making of a Modern Monarch,” Jobson further claimed that William has a notably short fuse and can resort to shouting during arguments. However, a close royal aide shared that both William and Kate can engage in raised voices during disagreements, but their deep understanding of each other usually leads to a swift resolution. The aide also mentioned that Kate’s calming influence has a positive impact on William.
Despite these previous claims, the relationship between the Prince and Princess of Wales seems stronger than ever. They got married in 2011 and have three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
