Meghan Markle has made some outspoken claims about the media and the Royal Family that are allegedly not being well received in the US as she looks to promote her brand-new Spotify podcast, Archetypes.

According to an insider, US media outlets are less interested in Meghan Markle and are instead focusing on Kate Middleton.

While promoting her brand-new podcast Archetypes, the Duchess of Sussex has recently been giving interviews and has made a number of outspoken claims.

Meghan made charges about the British media and Royal Family in a 6,500-word interview with The Cut magazine, which sparked a response on social media.

Meghan asserted in an interview with The Cut that in a story that garnered international attention, British media had referred to her children as “the N-word.”

However, despite the fresh allegations, the US media are reportedly turning their attention to Kate and Prince William.

A US TV insider told The Telegraph: “Meghan is sort of regarded as tabloid fodder these days.

“I wouldn’t say her popularity has waned but her star draw has. She was riding on the cusp of being the Duchess, but a lot of their projects have failed and some of the clusters have gone.

“It would be unfair to say she’s not popular but we are doing less on her. We are more likely to do something on William and Kate now.”

Following their decision to go to California after stepping down from their royal duties, Meghan and Harry signed lucrative deals with Netflix and Spotify.

As per Gbnews, however, in another setback for the pair Meghan’s animated series Pearl was axed by Netflix as the streaming giant made cuts.

The Express reports royal commentator Neil Sean suggests that the axing was “embarrassing” for the Duchess and it would have “hit Meghan very hard”.

Another source claimed Brits are “wrong” for thinking America is “obsessed with Meghan” when it is in fact the Queen who they are “really obsessed with”.

Just 25% of Americans said they were “very or fairly interested” in reading Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir, according to a survey conducted in July.

Only 45% of Americans said they had a “favorable or somewhat favorable” opinion of the Duchess in an April YouGov poll.
