HELLO! magazine reported that Mindy Kaling, a close friend of Markle, shared insights about their home life during the 2025 Golden Globes. Kaling highlighted how the royal couple collaborates on household chores, offering a glimpse into their daily routine at their Montecito residence.
As Kaling discussed Markle’s latest documentary, With Love, Meghan, she revealed that Prince Harry also has culinary talents. The documentary features Markle preparing meals for celebrity friends, showcasing her well-known cooking skills. Kaling noted that Harry plays an active role in the kitchen, even if he didn’t personally cook for her during the filming.
“Harry was there,” Kaling said of her visit to the Sussexes’ home. “He didn’t cook for me, but I heard he’s actually a pretty good cook. He knows his way around a kitchen.” Meghan Markle’s cooking abilities have been well-documented, with her previously sharing tips and recipes.
In a 2016 interview with Good Housekeeping, Markle revealed her love for preparing roasted chicken. “There is nothing as delicious (or as impressive) as a perfectly roasted chicken. If you have an Ina Garten-level roasted chicken recipe, it’s a game changer. I bring that to dinner parties and make a lot of friends,” she said.
Since their departure from royal duties, the Sussexes have adapted to a more grounded lifestyle, balancing family, work, and their home life in California.
