A royal expert has suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are in the process of rebranding themselves. Speaking with The Sun, royal historian Hugo Vickers shared insights into the couple’s evolving public personas, noting that Harry appears to be returning to his former philanthropic roots, while Meghan may be eyeing a return to acting.

Vickers observed that when Meghan is absent, Harry tends to take the lead, handing out awards and discussing causes he is passionate about. However, when Meghan is present, she often takes control of the narrative, with Harry seemingly following her lead.

The expert believes it’s “very possible” that both Harry and Meghan are consciously trying to reshape their public images. “Prince Harry is trying to sort of turn himself into the old Prince Harry and do what he was very good at,” Vickers explained, referring to Harry’s previous work in charity and philanthropy.

Vickers continued, “He is giving out awards instead of accepting them and talking about the issues that he likes talking about when he’s on his own.” However, the dynamic changes when Meghan is by his side. “When Meghan is there, I always seem to find that he’s either spouting whatever she tells him to, or she’s doing the talking. She leads the narrative.”

Vickers also highlighted Meghan’s background as an actress and suggested that her recent public appearances reflect that world. “She of course was an actress, and so appearing in a red dress in front of one of those advertising screens and talking to celebrities is very much her world,” he added.

As the couple navigates their lives post-royalty, experts like Vickers believe they are actively redefining their roles, with Harry focusing on causes that align with his previous philanthropic efforts and Meghan potentially returning to the entertainment industry.
