Kate Middleton Reportedly Moves On from Royal Rift, Focuses on New Priorities
Kate Middleton has reportedly decided to stop concerning herself with the ongoing rift between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the rest of the royal family. The Princess of Wales, who previously attempted to mediate between her husband, Prince William, and the estranged Sussexes, is said to have shifted her focus to more pressing matters.
Royal author Christopher Andersen told Fox News Digital that it’s unrealistic to think Kate still has the time or energy to play peacemaker. “The idea that Kate somehow still has the time and energy to continue playing peacemaker is rubbish,” he stated. “She did try over a period of years and finally threw up her hands in disgust.”
Andersen explained further, “She did her bit, but it wasn’t enough to build a bridge between William and Charles on one side and Harry on the other.” He emphasized that despite Kate’s efforts, the division between the brothers and the broader royal family remains unresolved.
This shift in focus comes after Prince Harry detailed a physical altercation with Prince William in his memoir Spare. In the book, Harry claimed that his elder brother grabbed him by the collar, ripped his necklace, and knocked him to the floor. “I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me,” Harry wrote, revealing the tension between the siblings during his time in the UK.
While Kate initially tried to mediate and bring about reconciliation, it seems she has now chosen to focus on other priorities, leaving the resolution of the royal rift in the hands of others. The future of the brothers’ relationship remains uncertain as both sides continue to navigate their differences.
