Meghan Markle is facing criticism for allegedly distancing Prince Harry from the royal family since their departure from the UK in 2020. The Duchess of Sussex, who left Britain with Harry and their son, Prince Archie, has now reportedly upset her husband with her actions.

Royal expert Jennie Bond and former royal photographer Arthur Edwards have commented on the situation, suggesting that King Charles still hopes to reconcile with Harry. “I still do think Charles has his arms figuratively open to Harry, not unconditionally, and not without some hurt feelings, but I think he would like to establish a relationship with his younger son,” Bond shared.

However, when it comes to Meghan, the experts see a different picture. “Meghan, I don’t know, it’s very odd that she is totally estranged from almost everyone in her family, except her mother and one cousin we know about,” Bond continued. Edwards added, “And now she has estranged Harry from his family. I mean, it’s tragic, I think.”

Since stepping away from royal duties in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan have made headlines, publicly accusing the royal family of racism towards their son, Prince Archie. The couple aired their grievances in various high-profile interviews, further widening the rift with the family.

Now living in California, Harry and Meghan have since welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, into their lives. While the couple appears settled in their new life, tensions with Harry’s family remain unresolved.

The royal experts believe that while King Charles is open to mending his relationship with Harry, Meghan’s influence could be a barrier. As the couple continues their journey in the US, the future of Harry’s relationship with his family remains uncertain, leaving many to wonder if reconciliation is truly possible.
