Meghan Markle’s Latest Decision Reportedly Takes a Toll on King Charles’ Health

Meghan Markle has reportedly made a significant decision regarding her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, leaving some royal insiders suggesting it has upset her father-in-law, King Charles, who is currently undergoing cancer treatment.
While Prince Harry is preparing for a solo trip to the UK to attend the 2024 WellChild Awards, Meghan and their children won’t be joining him, sparking further speculation about her relationship with the royal family. Royal commentator Charles Rae shared insights into Meghan’s intentions, claiming that the Duchess of Sussex may have no plans to bring her children back to the UK in the near future.
During an interview with GB News, Rae said, “You’ve got Harry doing a few of what we would consider to be royal jobs or royal visits, whereas Meghan is still at home. I don’t know what she’s doing, whether she’s working on podcasts or everything else, but it’s interesting.”

He went on to express doubt about Meghan’s return to the UK, adding, “In terms of Meghan, I’m of the school that does not believe that Meghan will ever return to this country.”
Rae’s comments also touched on the future of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, stating, “And by implication, it means that the children, unless they’re much older, will not be back in this country for the foreseeable future.”
This decision comes as King Charles battles cancer, and some sources suggest his ongoing health challenges could be contributing to the strain between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family. The absence of Meghan and her children during these difficult times for the monarch has raised eyebrows, with many questioning whether they will ever fully reconcile with the royal family.
