Prince Harry leaves King Charles ‘furious’ yet again, Says Royal Expert
King Charles is reportedly ‘furious’ with his younger son, Prince Harry, following the latest interview given by Harry and Meghan Markle. Despite his anger, the monarch is avoiding responding to the Duke of Sussex publicly.
Royal expert Tom Quinn made these claims, highlighting the strained relationship between the father and son. According to Quinn, there is little hope that King Charles, who is eager to meet his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet, will see them in the near future.
Speaking to the Mirror, Quinn discussed Prince Harry and Meghan’s decision not to bring their children to the UK. He said, “Charles believes Harry should let bygones be bygones for the sake of Archie and Lilibet, but he senses that access to the children is being used as a bargaining chip and that, in Charles’ view, is unforgivable.”
Quinn further added, “Despite Harry’s attacks on the royal family, his father has avoided responding by attacking his son publicly, but privately, King Charles is furious. So much so that he is now refusing to take calls from his son.”
The ongoing tensions between King Charles and Prince Harry continue to make headlines, painting a picture of a deeply fractured family dynamic.
Charles’ Desperation to See His Grandchildren
King Charles’ frustration is compounded by his desire to establish a relationship with his grandchildren. Archie and Lilibet have been living in the United States with their parents since Harry and Meghan stepped back from royal duties in early 2020. Despite multiple attempts to reconcile, the physical and emotional distance between the royal family and the Sussexes remains significant.
The Root of the Conflict
The discord between King Charles and Prince Harry has been fueled by a series of public statements and interviews in which Harry has criticized the royal family. Harry’s memoir “Spare” and various interviews have laid bare his grievances, contributing to the ongoing tension.
The Impact on the Royal Family
The royal family has historically maintained a stance of not responding publicly to personal attacks, adhering to the principle of maintaining a dignified silence. King Charles’ decision to refrain from publicly criticizing his son aligns with this tradition, though it reportedly masks a deeper, private frustration.
Future Reconciliation?
The possibility of reconciliation remains uncertain. While King Charles is reportedly keen on mending the rift for the sake of his grandchildren, the ongoing public revelations and accusations have made it challenging to find common ground. The monarch’s refusal to engage in a public spat with Harry might be seen as an attempt to keep the door open for future reconciliation, despite the current estrangement.
