Recent actions by Prince Harry in Hollywood may indicate that he and Meghan Markle are beginning to cement their separate paths, according to royal expert Ingrid Seward. In a recent interview with The Sun, Seward shared her insights on the couple’s evolving strategy and how they may be exploring different directions individually.
Seward suggested that Harry and Meghan’s decision to take on separate projects could be a new approach after their joint ventures didn’t work as well as expected. “I feel that they’re both going slightly different ways to see if it works,” Seward explained. “They’ve tried it together, and it didn’t work so well. So, they’re doing it separately to see how well it works.”
One example of Harry’s solo endeavors was his surprise appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a Halloween skit. Seward commented on the appearance, calling it “tomfoolery” but also a positive glimpse of the more lighthearted, “old Harry.” She added, “It’s really good to see a glimpse of the old Harry… and, hopefully, it will resonate with him too.”
Seward also pointed out that taking on individual projects is a natural progression for both members of the royal family and any family in general. “It just means that they’re doing things in different ways on their own, which is eventually what all members of the Royal Family or members of any family do,” she remarked.
In recent weeks, both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have engaged in solo appearances, from charity events in New York City to Meghan’s visit to a charity in Los Angeles, and Harry’s involvement in South African initiatives. This shift has led to speculation that the couple may be experimenting with separate public roles after facing challenges in their collaborative efforts.
As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex navigate their lives post-royalty, experts believe this move towards individual ventures may mark a new chapter in their personal and professional lives, allowing them to carve out distinct identities in the public eye.
